Thank you!! | 6th Annual Trauma Informed and Resilient Communities Conference

 This year marked the 6th Annual Trauma Informed and Resilient Communities Conference, which was a collaborative effort of Erie and Crawford County Systems of Care. This year over 350 individuals attended the all-day conference featuring 18 workshops and 2 keynote speakers.

The purpose of the annual conference is to educate providers, community members and youth and families about the prevalence of trauma so that we can create a well-informed workforce who can better address the needs of our community.

2019 Erie Trauma Summit | Thank you for attending!

On August 19th & 20th ECTIC, the United Way of Erie County, System of Care Erie, and Penn State Erie, the Behrend College are partnering with the PA SERG, the Attorney General's Office and Lakeside Global Institute hosted a 2-day Trauma Summit to address topics such as basic information about trauma and its impact on the brain, the power of chronic adversity and traumatic stress, and how to recognize the signs and symptoms of secondary trauma stress. ​

6th Annual Suicide Prevention Conference| Thank you for coming to our breakout session!

On September 10th, 2019 the Suicide Prevention Task Force hosted their 6th annual conference. The theme was "Building Stronger Communities: Suicide Prevention, Intervention and Postvention Across the Lifespan." Our System of Care Project Director and Youth Task Lead had the honor of presenting along side Erie City School District faculty on "Promoting Youth and Family Engagement in the Prevention of Suicide."
